In the midst of all the mails going on for Bangalore and NCR, GBPEC meet I was thinking about the number of batches passed out from GBPEC. In 2009, it was the 15th batch which got passed out from GBPEC. I tried to map this data with the statement which my mother used to say "Every five years there is a generation change happen".
As per her statement, which I believe in too, GBPEC has generated three generations (G1:1995-1999, G2:2000-2004, G3:2005-2009) of engineers, who are playing vital role in building nation. And as a senior we must be (and we are) ready to welcome new generation next year. Welcome GBPEC 4.0!!!!
I hope the generation next will be equally good as their predecessors (here I am little rational to call all of us good). I believe they will have more enthusiasm than us to join the GBPEC Alumni family. Not only this, they will play bigger role in taking GBPEC Alumni activities from current level (organizing alumni meets) to next level, where we will be more involved in the social activities/reforms/entrepreneurship etc and really create a brand name called GBPEC.
Amen.
