Say it my good luck or the God's wish, I made a plan to go and visit GBPEC on 16th Sep,2009 with my friend and Vice President of my earlier company, Pankaj. Both of us reached college after having a tour of Khirsu, Kandoliya and Kyunkaaleshwar. We had plans to go to deoprayag the very next day morning. In the college, Sanjiv Naithani sir had made arrangements for the Guest house for us. On 16th evening, I met Ashish Negi sir & H K Goyal sir. Negi sir told me that there is a Vishwakarma pooja & fresher night scheduled on 17th Sep. He requested me (or you can say, ordered me) to stay for 1 more day and enjoy the evening. We discussed and decided to stay as for me it was an opportunity to meet new juniors. On 17th morning, we saw the Chaukhambha and other hills topped with snow. It was a beautiful view. I went towards workshop and met some students and staff persons there who after performoing the Vishwakarma pooja, were having the sweets. They gave sweets to me also. It was lovely to feel the taste of sweets with the cool breeze of college. I met Akash Dhar (from Jammu) of second year and talked with him for some time.

In the evening time, we went to the auditorium to attend the Fresher night. We were treated as VIPs and were seated in the first row with Principal in charge N. Singh sir and other teachers. It felt great to have the honour to lit the lamp.

The program started and a lot of cultural events were done by new students. So much talent was there that we can't judge anybody by giving them any numbers. Some students sang songs very well and some showed their talents in the dance.

At the end, Ashish Negi sir introduced me to the students as an alumni and invited me to the stage.

I felt like getting my stage back and after telling a bit about myself sang a song, " Guncha koi", students cheered me and asked for "once more". Then I sang a garhwali song, "Tu dikhyaandi" and then I was like a star. I was very happy to see that how those new students all unknown to me were cheering me up. It was an amazing night. After that, we came back to Guest house and had dinner with Ankit Khanduri of second year (My batchmate J P Sati's nephew).

Next day, we started from there to Deoprayag. But, the best part of our tour was in the college only.
